Potential Member FAQ

  1. Is there an initiation fee? Yes there is an initiation fee to join our club regardless of member category. Please contact us for current pricing details.
  2. Are there any member assessments? We are not an equity club so there are no assessments to our membership.
  3. How long do I have to commit? The contract does not state that you can't leave at any time. However if you do leave and decide to return, you would be required to commit long term and will have to pay an additional initiation fee. 
  4. Is the course open on Mondays? Yes, we open at 3pm on Mondays in season.
  5. How does payment work? We accept any major debit/credit cards, and our members do have the option of automatic withdrawal from their ACH/bank account.
  6. Can I pay up front? You can prepay for any portion or fees of your membership at any time.
  7. Do you run any membership specials? We run seasonal specials. Please contact us for the latest membership special.
  8. Do I need to be sponsored by a current member? You do not but it is recommended so you can know an existing member before joining. 
  9. Is there Bag Storage? Yes, Bag Storage is offered and is located just outside the Pro Shop.
  10. When does the Pool facility open and close? The Pool facility opens Memorial Day weekend and closes Labor Day.
  11. What are the Restaurants Hours? At the main Maple Creek Restaurant, lunch is served upstairs from 11am-3pm and dinner service is 5pm-9pm. 
  12. How often do the dues go up and by how much typically? Historically, every 2 years the dues and business model of the club are re-evaluated.
  13. Are there cart fees? We charge a monthly fee to allow our members to access the club's cart fleet.
  14. Are green fees included? Green fees are included in the membership dues.
  15. Is there an extra charge for Driving Range? Driving Range is included in the membership dues.
  16. Is Personal Locker Included? Yes, each full named member does receive a personal locker. (Subject to availability.)
  17. Do I have to make a tee time? You do not, but it is preferred to insure you have the best experience.
  18. Do any of the PGA Pros offer lessons? Chuck Helms is our Head Teaching instructor and is happy to give lessons to anyone regardless of skill level. Click here to contact Chuck for availability.
  19. What is the dress code? All golfers must wear a collared shirt, no cutoffs or tank tops. Denim is only allowed before April 1st or after October 1st. For the Restaurants, business casual is preferred. Members coming from the Pool must be covered up in appropriate attire.
  20. Are there any incentives if a friend joins with me? Ownership will offer an incentive that may lead to a reduced initiation fee.
  21. Does the club have any current reciprocity? We are happy to call any course on your behalf.
  22. Where do you typically pull membership from? The vast majority of our members encompass and live within a 10 mile radius of our club.
  23. What is the average age of the membership? 49 years old is the current average age. We are a family oriented club so the average age of our members is lower than what you might expect.
