General Information for all Tournaments
Extremely important! Please read carefully!

Sign-up sheets are located in the Maple Creek Golf Shop. You may sign-up in person, via telephone (Call us at 317-894-3837) or VIA EMAIL, two weeks prior to all scheduled tournaments (with the exception of the Invitational Packet, which will be mailed to each member).

Entry deadline for each event, unless otherwise specified, is noon the day before the event. If you ask to be signed up for an event after the noon deadline, you will be on an alternate status only. The Golf Shop staff will do their best to accommodate all members.

All rules as set forth on the game day and rules and information sheet issued by the Golf Shop must be adhered to precisely. Any violation of the rules sheet, subject you, or your team possible disqualification. Each player in the foursome should read the rules sheet and understand how the event is to be played. Any questions should be addressed prior to teeing off.
Golf Reservations / Tee Times / Signing up for Men's Club Events:
If you desire to play in any Men's Club event, you must sign up in the Golf Shop in person or via telephone, by noon the day before the event. Registrations will be taken after the noon deadline, on a stand by basis, or to fill the existing playing field. The field will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
MCCC Dye Cup:
Two teams will compete for the 2010 MCCC Dye Cup Point leaders. Points are accumulated throughout the Men's Club Tournament Calendar. The top 16 point leaders will comprise the CHALLENGING team, and will compete against the 2009 Dye Cup Champion Team.
72+ Rule:
If you are 72 years of age or older, and have a handicap of 20 +, you qualify to play from the GOLD tees in all MCCC Men's Club Events. Please notify the golf shop, at the beginning of the golf season, if you qualify.

Sunday March 7th Buddy Match Sign up Begins, Sign up closes April 3rd
Format: Two-man teams. Pick your partner. Four ball match play played off low handicap
Start Time: All season
Fee: Included in men's club dues.
Dye Cup Points: 1 Point for participation.
Additional points: 1 point for each victory.
Special Note: Each team is responsible for scheduling, and completing their matches on time. The Buddy Match board containing the Bracket / Matches will be posted in the Men's locker room. This four-ball match play event will be played throughout the summer.
If a match is not completed by the deadline, a coin flip will determine the winner.

Saturday, April 3rd Sip and Rip
Format: ABCD Scramble paired by Pro Shop.
Start Time: 8:30 breakfast / 9:30 Shotgun
Fee: Included in Men's Club Dues
Dye Cup Points: 1 POINT FOR PARTICIPATION, additional points:
1st - 8 pts, 2nd - 6pts, 3rd - 5pts, 4th - 4pts

Friday April 16th Opening Stag
Format: 3 Gross / 3 Net per flight
Start Time: 1:00 Shotgun
Fee: Included in Men's Club Dues
Dye Cup Points: 1 POINT FOR PARTICIPATION, additional points per flight:
Gross / Net 1st - 6pts, 2nd - 4pts, 3rd - 2 pts.
Special Note: Happy Hour when golf is finished. Dinner following play. You do not have to play to enjoy dinner, however if you do not play but wish to dine, please call to make a reservation.

Saturday April 24th ABCD Shamble
Format: ABCD Scramble. Computer drawn teams. Everyone tees off, select the best shot and all play your own ball from there. 2 net BB of Foursome
Start Time: 9:00 shotgun start
Fee: Included in Men's Club Dues
Dye Cup Points: 1 POINT FOR PARTICIPATION, additional points:
1st -8 pts, 2nd -6pts, 3rd -4pts, 4th -2pts
Special Note: Lunch Buffet available following golf.

Saturday May 1st Spring Best Ball & 500 qualifying
Format: AABB - CCDD Pro Shop blind draw for teams. 2 flights, the first flight consists of two A players and two B players. The second flight will consist of two C players and two D players. The 2 best net balls per foursome will be counted as the team total.
Start Time: Tee Times starting at 8:00 am
Fee: Included in Men's Club Dues
Dye Cup Points: 1 POINT FOR PARTICIPATION, additional points per flight:
1st -6pts, 2nd -5pts, 3rd -4pts, 4th -3pts

Wednesday May 12th Member / Guest
Format: 1 or 3 Guests permitted. All Guests play at 80% handicap. Guest Handicap must accompany sign-up. 2 net best balls of the foursome.
Start Time: 1:00 Shotgun
Fee: $75 per twosome / $150 per foursome includes golf / cart / dinner
Dye Cup Points: 1 POINT FOR PARTICIPATION
Special Note: Happy Hour will begin after golf. Dinner will follow.

Saturday & Sunday May 15th & 16th Presidents Cup
Format: Single elimination match play with handicap. Played off low handicap.
Start Time: Tee Times begin at 8:00 - 9:45 (Round 1 Mandatory)

Format: Pick your partner, or have the Golf Shop pair you , one player under age 58 one over. Pinehurst format, both players drive: player 1 hits player 2's ball and vise versa, select the best shot and alternate until the ball is holed.

Format: Match Play within flights, No Handicap
16 Players per Flight
Championship Flight is comprised of 2009 Champion and the 10 low, current revision handicaps. The remaining 5 spots are open for ANYONE who wants to try and "play up" into the Championship flight. Pairings and Tee Times assigned by Golf Shop. All other flights will be flighted by handicap.

Each hole will play as a par 3.

Format: ABCD Pro Shop Blind draw for teams. 3 Best Balls of 4(Net), each hole. Each player will play their own ball the entire 18 holes. The 3 Low Gross Scores, the 6 Low Net Scores, plus the 2009 Steeplechase champion will compete for the 2010 title.
Start Time: 8:30 Shotgun. Pari-mutual and Steeplechase follow ABCD.
Fee: Included in Men's Club Dues
Dye Cup Points: 1 POINT FOR PARTICIPATION, additional points:
ABCD: 1st -6pts, 2nd -5pts, 3rd -4pts, 4th -3pts, 5th -2pts, 6th -1pt
Steeplechase: 1st -15pts, 2nd -14pts, 3rd -13pts, 4th -12pts, 5th -11pts, 6th -10pts,

Saturday September 25th MCCC Dye Cup
Format: 3 - 9 Hole Matches with Handicap
1st Match is 1 net best ball of 2, match play
2nd Match is Modified Pinehurst Match Play
3rd Match is Head to Head Match Play
Two teams will compete for the 2010 MCCC Dye Cup Point leaders. Points are accumulated throughout the Men's Club Tournament Calendar. The top 16 point leaders will comprise the CHALLENGING team, and will compete against the 2009 Dye Cup Champion Team.
Each match is worth 1 team point, the team with the most total points will win the Cup and defend their title in 2011.
Start Time: TBD Starting off #1 and #10
Fee: $50
Special Note: Lunch is included in entry.
